Seanie T of East London is a veteran of the British scene and you can hear it in many key hip-hop productions from the island. He collaborates with Blak Twang, Rodney P, Estelle and Roots Manuva. He has its own style on the border between hip-hop and dancehall.
“Reggae music is the strength of me; it’s the beat of my heart. I love hip-hop, but to me there’s no greater music than Reggae.”
Seanie was drawn in to the world of reggae sound systems at a very early age. As a youth he followed sounds like Saxon, Coxon and Unity, he even had the opportunity of DJing with the Ragga Twins.
Sean T will be one of Dub Pistols voices on the Red Stage 9th August. The band have just announced the release of their sixth album, "White Lines", which includes Seanie T and announced a massive UK tour in Autumn.
