Christian McLay is a heavy dub, reggae, dubstep and hip hop producer, from Auckland, New Zealand he has spent the past few years working with well-known dance hall and reggae artists, including work with Gappy Ranks and a brand new project with Conroy Smith.
Known for his punchy bass and hypnotic dance lines, Dub Terminator has spent 15 years honing his craft, cultivating soundscapes that always get festival goers into the good vibrations. His live shows are filled with an energy and life that keep the party spinning. Dub Terminator started releasing music on labels from the UK, Canada and the USA. His tunes have found their way into the crates of Massive Attack, and Dubmatix, and the 'Big Ups" from Skream, aired on radios all around the glob.
In 2010 he started an independent label / production group Soul Island with Jacobo Miquel aka High Frequency from Spain. With the focus of creating a fresh style of heavy dub & reggae based music Soul island is collaborating with vocalists from Jamaica & Europe and pushing towards vinyl & digital releases.
