This is roots reggae, dub and rock led by the murderous rhythm section Jubba & Stone, by many considered to be successors of Sly & Robbie. That’s master quintet who restored faith in real live bands in Jamaica. The winners of the intercontinental contest "Global Battle of the Bands" will present in Ostróda their new album "Evolution".
Ostróda’s favourites return with Kool Johnny Kool and top Polish roots singer David Portasz. With David they will recall some memorable tracks of the first Polish-Jamaican project Rastasize, where they performed together. King size reggae music!

They propose a unique blend of reggae, dub, funk, soul, latin, swing, ska, pop and rock. This colourful mixture is additionally enhanced with English, Spanish and French lyrics. Despite 7 albums already on their account it is dynamic and spectacular shows that make them so big.

If you look for a Polish music group experimenting on the basis of reggae and dub that met with the greatest support of fans, surely it would be Zebra. Unusual and extended set of instruments and musical originality presented on their album "Electronic Heart" show that the roots music can be very open formula.
